Treat Pending as an App-Delivery State
If the Ledger Live download is pending on Android, Google Play has not finished delivering the application or update. Ledger Wallet is its current listing name. This state is separate from a cryptocurrency transaction waiting for confirmation and can be investigated without connecting or resetting the hardware wallet.
Open the store entry and record its actual status. A waiting queue, failed package, and incompatible-device message should not all be answered with the same repeated Install tap.
Identify Whether the Queue Is Shared
Inspect other downloads and updates. If they are progressing, note whether Ledger is queued behind them or reports a specific condition. If none progress, investigate the broader store, storage, or connectivity environment rather than erasing the wallet’s local account information.
Google’s basic download troubleshooting provides the appropriate initial checks. Confirm usable internet access, required network sign-in, and sufficient storage. Review the download preference when changing from Wi-Fi to mobile data instead of assuming the app needs an external installer.
Keep One Request Identifiable
Close and reopen the store or restart the phone when appropriate, noting whether the same request changes state. Complete supported phone maintenance and check normal date and time settings. Avoid leaving many canceled and restarted requests without recording which attempt you are evaluating.
If an account message appears, resolve it through Google’s own controls. It is not evidence that Ledger needs your recovery phrase, hardware PIN, or an activation payment. A software delivery issue belongs to the store layer.
Reconfirm the Intended Package
Navigate through Ledger’s Android download link to the verified Google Play listing. Confirm that it is the request in your queue. The retained ledger.live package identifier can be normal despite the Ledger Wallet display name.
Do not replace a slow official download with an APK advertised by a stranger. That change introduces an authenticity question and does not explain the original pending state. Likewise, disabling Play Protect should not be a routine queue repair.
Broaden Store Repair Only When Needed
Follow Google’s current error-specific guidance if initial checks do not help. Read which app’s cache or data a proposed action affects. Play Store cache, broader Google services data, and Ledger Wallet storage are distinct targets with different consequences.
Avoid deleting a working wallet installation before checking that its eligible replacement can be delivered. Removing it can lose local preferences while leaving the same queue problem. Preserve useful public account records privately if a justified rebuild becomes necessary later.
Start Device Setup After Delivery Succeeds
Once the package is installed, open the app and handle the supported hardware connection as a separate task. USB data capability and Bluetooth permission do not determine whether the store delivers a file. Let any progressing device firmware finish before ordinary host restarts or connection experiments.
Pending Questions
Can My Ledger Clear the Store Queue?
No hardware reset supplies a missing phone package. Keep the configured wallet unchanged while investigating app delivery.
What Should I Tell Support?
Describe the store state, phone and Android versions, other-download behavior, and exact message. Exclude wallet secrets and unrelated financial screenshots.
